After its reinstatement, Clinton’s lawyers again criticized the release of the photo. “We find it unprofessional and unfair. We believe it will continue to be done according to the rules and in line with expectations.”
According to participants, the questions repeatedly returned to her contacts with Epstein and whether she had knowledge of his activities. Clinton insisted she had never met him and had no personal or working relationship with him. Democrats subsequently criticized the tone of the hearing as politically motivated, while Republicans said it was a legitimate effort to shed light on the system’s failures. After several hours, the hearing ended without the committee announcing any specific conclusions.
According to her own words, Clinton also faced unexpected and unconventional questions regarding UFOs or the long-disproved Pizzagate conspiracy theory. This conspiracy was created during the campaign before the presidential election in 2016 and was supposed to discredit Hillary Clinton. According to these baseless claims, the previously mentioned pedophile gang of Democratic politicians was supposed to run a pizzeria in Washington that served as a place of child abuse. However, this claim was long ago and repeatedly refuted by the authorities.

Bill Clinton: I didn’t know about the crimes and I didn’t do anything wrong
The day after Hillary Clinton’s hearing, former US President Bill Clinton also appeared before the committee. During nearly six hours of testimony, he declared that he had “no idea of the crimes” that Jeffrey Epstein had committed and insisted that he had done nothing wrong. “I know what I saw and more importantly what I didn’t see. And I know what I did and what I didn’t do. I didn’t see anything and I didn’t do anything wrong,” he said in his statement.
Clinton emphasized that if he had known about Epstein’s activities, he would have reported them to the appropriate authorities himself. He also recalled his childhood in an environment of domestic violence and added that he would never have flown on Epstein’s plane if he had even a hint of suspicion. She claims they cut off contact around 2005, before Epstein entered a plea deal in Florida.
The committee chairman called the hearing productive and said Clinton answered all questions. However, the Democrats themselves did not accept his entire statement uncritically and pointed out that some passages will have to be compared with documents and records. In particular, the interpretation of the part that referred to conversations about Donald Trump remained controversial.
Clinton in a hot tub with Epstein’s right-hand man
Bill Clinton appears in the recently published files relating to Jeffrey Epstein mainly in photographs, flight logs and e-mail communications of his associates with Ghislaine Maxwell. She is currently serving a prison sentence for trafficking in underage girls for the purpose of their sexual abuse. The documents do not contain direct evidence that Clinton knew about Epstein’s crimes, nor do they directly link him to criminal activity. However, they show the extent of his contacts after leaving the White House.
Flight records show that Clinton flew Epstein’s private plane at least twenty-four times in 2002-2003, with trips to Africa, Europe, Asia, and Russia. According to his statements, these were business trips connected with the activities of the Clinton Foundation, and he never visited Epstein’s private island.
The files also include photos of Clinton swimming with Maxwell, sitting in a hot tub next to a woman with her face covered, or posing with Epstein at social events. Email communications between Maxwell and Clinton’s close adviser Doug Banda indicate that she was the one who brokered several contacts and meetings. Clinton has repeatedly maintained that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and cut off contacts before his indictment.
The committee released videos of the Clintons’ depositions
The Committee of the House of Representatives subsequently published video recordings of the statements of Bill and Hillary Clinton in the case of Jeffrey Epstein. Both lawmakers were questioned under oath for several hours over two days. Bill Clinton has reiterated that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and cut ties with him before he pleaded guilty in 2008. He says he saw nothing to suggest criminal activity during their trips together and that he never visited his island.
Hillary Clinton has declared that she does not remember a personal meeting with Epstein. She accused Republicans of a politically motivated investigation and criticized the closed nature of the hearing. The published videos thus bring a more detailed view of their defense, but the dispute over the extent of contacts with Epstein continues.
