Professionals interested in learning the fundamentals of can sign up for an online course promoted by . Registration is open until March 6, 2026.
The free training is aimed at reporters with little or no experience in the area and aims to teach basic investigative techniques, such as identifying sources, analyzing documents and developing guidelines.
The course will be held online in two classes, starting in May and October. Each edition will have 20 participants, selected by public call.
The training includes ten sessions, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for five consecutive weeks, lasting three hours per meeting.
In addition to classes, participants will receive individual mentoring to discuss and develop their projects. The estimated dedication is at least seven hours per week, including exercises and activities proposed by the instructors.
The selection will give priority to journalists with at least five years of professional experience, but little previous experience in investigative journalism. Proficiency in reading and understanding English is also required.
