Inter Miami star, Lionel Messi gifted Donald TrumpPresident of the United States, during a celebration at the White House, in Washington, the North American capital.
The event celebrated the Major League Soccer Cup title won by Inter Miami, a club from , in 2025.
During the celebration, the star presented him with a trophy, in the shape of a ball, with the colors of the United States, the flag of the United States and the phrase “Freedom to Dream” – Freedom to dream, in Portuguese.
Inter Miami won, in 2025, the first title in its history. Led by , who was voted MVP (most valuable player) and top scorer of the season, the team beat the Vancouver Whitecaps in the final.

Inter Miami was founded in 2018 and began competing in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2020. The club was created by a group of investors led by former English player David Beckham, who had acquired the right to have a league franchise in the United States years before.
The team gained international recognition in 2023, with the signing of Argentine Lionel Messi. The star’s arrival transformed Inter Miami into one of the most popular teams in world football and helped boost MLS’s audience. In the same year, the team won its first title, the , marking a new chapter in the club’s history.
