Female leadership promotes innovation, iFood executive tells CNN Money

iFood’s financial arm, the iFood Paid register 53% of women in leadership positionsaccording to a survey by Anbima (Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Market Entities) released in 2025. The index exceeds by approximately 50% the average for the financial sector in Brazil, 35.4%.

“In the financial market, female leadership is a matter of representation and is also a driver of innovation. Having different perspectives at the table increases the quality of decision-making and allows us to design more assertive strategies. When we combine different experiences, we deliver solutions that truly meet the complexity of companies and the reality of product users”, says Daniela Zylberkan, CRMO at iFood Benefícios, when CNN Money.

According to the company, in addition to the female presence in leadership, the Average hiring of women in the last 12 months reached 57%which indicates progress in gender diversity within the company.

iFood Pago’s Human Resources Director, Natalia Ubilla, stated that gender representation in leadership positions is a fundamental strategy for the business.

“Different perspectives enrich decision-making and strengthen our ability to innovate,” commented the executive.

According to the company, the increase in female presence in strategic areas accompanies the expansion of the financial platform.
