Acre journalist Amanda Oliveira started a solidarity campaign to try to save the life of her cat, Chico, who is facing a serious case of poisoning and needs intensive veterinary treatment.
According to the description published on the vakinha’s page, the animal is weak and is unable to walk or perform its basic needs. Treatment involves medications, exams and 24-hour veterinary monitoring, which has increased the cost of care.

Unable to cover all the expenses alone, Amanda decided to resort to the solidarity of friends, readers and people sensitive to the cat’s situation.
In the text published in the campaign, the appeal highlights the urgency of treatment. “I’m undergoing treatment for poisoning. I can’t walk or do my business and I need medication, tests and 24-hour monitoring to recover my health”, says the message published on the fundraising page.
Created on March 8, the campaign has already raised R$746 of a goal of R$1,500, with the support of around 20 donors.
Amanda reinforces that any contribution can help guarantee the necessary care for Chico and increase the animal’s chances of recovery.
