Unlike much of the country, Acre will not have restrictions on the circulation of trucks and large vehicles on federal highways during the 2026 holidays. The exception was confirmed in an ordinance published by the Federal Highway Police (), which excluded the state from the limitations applied to stretches of single lanes in several regions of Brazil.
The measure is part of a national calendar that determines prohibition times for vehicles that exceed weight and dimensions limits during periods of high traffic on the roads, such as Carnival, Holy Week and the end of year festivities.

According to the standard, trucks with a width of more than 2.60 meters, a height of more than 4.40 meters, a length of more than 19.80 meters or a combined gross weight of more than 58.5 tons will have restricted circulation in several states during these periods.
However, the rule does not apply to Acre, nor to the states of Amazonas, Amapá, Pará and Roraima. In these locations, freight vehicle traffic will continue to be free even at times when there are restrictions in other regions of the country.
According to the PRF, the limitation was created to reduce the risk of accidents and improve the fluidity of traffic on federal highways during long holidays, when the flow of vehicles on the roads significantly increases.
