Vienna – The Austrian economy is still not gaining momentum. According to the current Wifo economic test, corporate sentiment deteriorated slightly in February compared to the previous month. Global geopolitical uncertainties, particularly the Iran war, are paralyzing investment activity and dampening demand for domestic industrial goods. The hoped-for economic recovery will therefore not materialize for the time being.
