Because of the death notice for his father Hans-Jörg Schimanek senior, René Schimanek, former office manager of National Council President Walter Rosenkranz (FPÖ), will appear before a jury in Krems on Wednesday. He is charged under the Prohibition Act. The FPÖ city council is said to have caused the party to be published on the website of the municipality of Langenlois (Krems district) with the quote “…and the glory of the dead lives forever” and the “Irminsul” symbol, which is widespread among right-wing extremists.
