Linz – According to media reports, the Linz Kepler University Hospital (KUK) is defending itself against an allegedly incorrect cancer diagnosis due to a name mix-up. This “never existed”, but rather a doctor noticed “that the X-ray images and the displayed data set did not match” during a conversation with a patient. “The error was resolved within a few minutes and discussed with the patient,” the hospital’s website says.
