Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Jordan Brand launch the Seleção’s second uniform, in a partnership with a history rooted in greatness

The Brazilian team will have a new logo on its second shirt, in blue.. Instead of the traditional “swoosh”, Nike’s “comma”, the uniform that will be worn by players at this year’s World Cup carries the silhouette of Michael Jordansymbol of Jordan Brand, a brand that belongs to the company, and was inspired by the basketball star’s career.

Sponsored by the American sporting goods giant since 1996, Brazil is the first team to display the Jordan Brand logo in history. Among the clubs, Paris Saint-Germain was the only club to date to exchange Nike’s comma for Jordan’s “Jumpman” logo.

The new number two shirt of the Brazilian team kept the traditional bluebut varying between light and dark tones, to resemble “burning embers”.

On the blue shirt, the team’s badge is centered on the chest, while the Jordan logo, in yellow, was made on the right side, close to the shoulder. On the inside of the collar, there is a seal with a diamond and the expression “Vai Braza!”.

In the cutouts between the body of the shirt and the sleeves there are details in green and yellow that form a drawing alluding to a “river”. On the sides, the uniform has thin vertical stripes in a light blue tone, creating a layered visual texture.

Jordan Brand was born in basketball in 1984when Nike signed a contract with Michael Jordanthen new to Chicago Bulls. The success was such that Nike turned the line into its own brand within the group.

The brand has gone beyond sport and today represents urban culture, with products generally used by young consumers, many of whom wear club and national team shirts as casual wear.

“The partnership with the Brazilian national team is more than a collaboration; it is a celebration of the greatness, creativity and electric energy of global football, with Brazil at its vibrant core. It is not simply a meeting of worlds; it is a dynamic fusion where performance and expression drive one another,” said Sarah Mensah, president of Jordan Brand.

“For every child in Brazil who dreams of having a ball at their feet, this partnership means something huge. Jordan Brand and our national team coming together is more than just football – it’s culture and greatness together,” he declared. Vinícius Junior.

The shirt was developed with Aero-FIT cooling technology, which provides greater breathability for high-performance activities. It is made from 100% textile waste and has distinct elliptical mesh zones, technology that helps players stay “dry” during matches.

“This launch symbolizes the union between two global references that share boldness, innovation and passion for sport. Seeing the ‘Jumpman’ on our uniform reinforces the cultural power of Brazilian football and Brazil’s ability to inspire the world. We are proud of this moment and confident that this mantle will represent, on and off the field, the energy and greatness of our team”, said Samir Xaud, president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

The partnership also features several streetwear pieces, such as shirts, sweatshirts, mesh shorts and oversized sweaters.
