Carneiro says he is qualified to be a candidate for prime minister

Re-elected without opposition in the PS elections, José Luís Carneiro says that the party qualified him to be a candidate for prime minister.

In the victory speech, Ram announced priorities for two itineraries: one for young people who neither study nor work and another for the maritime economy.

Without internal opposition, with a reinforced vote from 95.4% of last year’s direct votes to 96.9% of votes in this election, the PS general secretary says he has a mandate to affirm the socialist alternative to the government.

Before, he had already affirmed the expression of the greatest legitimacy as party leader, in gratitude to the more than 20 thousand members who voted in these votes.

Encouraged by municipal and presidential leaders who, in a message read at the PS headquarters, Carlos César said that they gave back to the PS the conviction that it can be greater, Carneiro immediately gives a new priority.

Starting in May, he says that all PS leadership structures will go into the field with this focus in mind. And there is a second roadmap, which he announces, and which has to do with the economy of the sea.

Carneiro tests the alternative program, without forgetting that there is a health pact in which António José Seguro wants to see the parties involved.

The PT member adds that he will ask Belém for a meeting and will await the initiative from the President of the Republic.
