Sinner beats Medvedev 7:6 (6) and 7:6 (4) in the Indian Wells final

Jannik Sinner won the $9.4 million Masters tournament in Indian Wells. In a hard-fought final, the world number two defeated the Russian Daniil Medvedev in two sets 7:6 (8:6), 7:6 (7:4) and thus won his first title in the Californian desert. It was Sinner’s 25th tournament victory, the first this year.
