Tears and self-denial? Dominika Cibulková admitted what was happening to her: 5 kilos up and a drastic step she had to take!

Former Slovak tennis player Dominika Cibulková she is a loving mother of son Jakubek and daughter Ninka. After two pregnancies, the former professional athlete decided to work on her figure and get back in shape. Thanks to discipline and a strict regime, she underwent a significant physical change during the year 2024, during which she lost 23 kilograms.

With her approach to diet and regular exercise, she became an inspiration for many women who, under her influence, became more interested in a healthy lifestyle. However, maintaining the set pace was not always easy. Cibulková openly admitted that her efforts were influenced by difficult life circumstances. It is no secret that after a long marriage with Michal Navar, they are going through a divorce. In recent months, she neglected exercise and did not follow a balanced diet.

Despite the fact that she suspected an unfavorable outcome, she decided to face reality. She visited nutritionist Zuzana Lišková, with whom she has been working for a long time, to undergo a professional InBody measurement. “Domi, so how did it go?” she asked the famous blonde. The former tennis player did not hide her disappointment and honestly admitted the current state. “5 kilos up… I weighed 56 kilos in the summer, that was my ceiling,” she stated openly. “I feel so much bigger, of course. The expert also found positives, which she attributed to her sporting past. “What’s great is that Dominika is an athlete, so you can also see the metabolism, that you’ve gained 2 kilos on your muscles. It’s good for you that your muscles are growing, that it’s not just about the fat.” the counselor explained. According to her, an active lifestyle has a huge advantage even when gaining weight. “So it pays to do sports and even if you gain weight, you will always gain weight in a different way than a person who does not move, who sits in the office, who does nothing, only reduces weight by eating or not eating.” Lišková added.

After the measurement, Cibulková is determined to return to her original form and adjust her diet again. “Actually, the fact that I played sports and still do sports… I’m going to start exercising more again, so I’m actually losing weight. I’m not gaining weight purely for fat… so let’s get down to it. Zuzka is going to cook again and I’ll cook something too.” she concluded, determined to lose six kilograms.
