O federal government will open a notice, in the value of up to R$100 millionto develop technological solutions to protect children and young people in digital environments.
The announcement was made this Wednesday (18) at the signing ceremony of the decrees that regulated the law that created ECA Digital.
The “Intensive AI for Digital Protection of Children and Adolescents” line is part of the MCTI/Finep/FNDCT Public Selection, launched in the second half of 2025 with R$300 million in economic subsidies non refundable.
The idea is aimed at companies of all sizes in mandatory partnerships with scientific, technological and innovation institutions.
The objective is to support small and medium-sized developers of solutions, innovations and applications based on AI, to effectively protect children and adolescents in the digital environment and contribute to the implementation of the guidelines provided for in the Digital ECA.
According to the government, the deadline for submitting proposals is September 30, 2026.
