The Public Ministry accused influencer Tiago Grila of three crimes related to the running over of a woman, which occurred in January 2024, in Amadora.
At issue are the crimes of serious physical harm due to negligence, failure to provide assistance and driving without a legal license. According to the prosecution, the incident took place on January 17, near Bingo da Amadora, when the victim was crossing a pedestrian crossing and was hit by the car driven by the accused.
According to the Public Ministry, after the collision, the driver still got out of the car and approached the woman, who was unconscious, but ended up leaving the scene without providing assistance or contacting the emergency services.
The accusation, made public this Thursday, also indicates that the victim suffered serious injuries, which compromised his ability to work for more than a year. At the time of the events, Tiago Grila did not have a legal license to drive.
Months after the incident, he himself admitted the accident while participating in a podcast, in a conversation in which he also discussed personal problems related to gambling, alcohol and drugs.
The digital content creator, who presents himself as a marketing specialist and has more than 100,000 followers on social media, already had a prior record: three convictions for drunk driving and two for driving without a license.
