Federal deputy Kim Kataguiri stated that the new MBL party, the acronym Missão, will occupy the space left by Bolsonarism on the Brazilian right. During the event that marked his affiliation with the party after leaving União Brasil, Kim highlighted that, with Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), the movement inaugurated by Jair Bolsonaro is in the process of shrinking in Brazilian politics.
For the parliamentarian, the Missão party appears as an alternative to what he classifies as “contradictions of Bolsonarism”. “The MBL is a non-Bolsonarist right and [o Missão] It will inevitably replace Bolsonarism.”
In conversation with journalists, Kim highlighted that, although Bolsonarism is great, the recent choices to run for the 2026 elections, such as Senator Flávio Bolsonaro for the Presidency, shorten the movement.
