Berlin – Is it the decisive joker for more punctual rail traffic in Germany? The German federal government and the industry want to get tardiness under control with “joker tracks”, more flexible departure times and more time buffers in the timetable. A “task force” has presented a bundle of 22 measures that are intended to stabilize operations in the coming months. There should be no thinning out of the timetable.
