Frenchman Perrot wins the overall biathlon World Cup for the first time

Oslo – Biathlete Eric Perrot has secured triumph in the overall World Cup for the first time. The 24-year-old Frenchman came third in the sprint at the season finale in Oslo and can no longer be pushed out of the top position. Perrot had one penalty and was 4.6 seconds behind the Norwegian day winner Sturla Holm Laegreid. Dominic Unterweger came 56th and is therefore the only ÖSV man in the pursuit on Saturday; it was no longer enough for Simon Eder.
