The Argentine president, Javier Milei, stated that Argentina is in a position to guarantee Europe’s energy security, during an event in Budapest on Sunday, 22, in a context marked by geopolitical instability and pressure on supply. The statement was made during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), held in Hungary.
Milei also highlighted the growth of investments in the sector and classified the moment as a “gold rush”, driven mainly by the country’s gas and oil reserves.
“Europe has sought energy independence for years. We offer something better, a reliable partner, with enormous reserves and a government that honors its contracts”, added the Argentine president.
