From Salzburg to KHM: More, not less, “good behavior” is needed

The so-called Curia of Art rarely speaks out. The loose committee, which is made up of the recipients of the decoration for art, needs important reasons for this, for example if it believes that the freedom of art is in danger. The Curia currently saw this as happening at the Salzburg Festival. In an open letter, members criticized the term “good conduct”. Director Markus Hinterhäuser, who has now left office, had this written into his employment contract after repeated allegations about his rough treatment of employees.
