USA lost test, co-World Cup organizers Canada and Mexico drew


Toronto/Mexico City/Atlanta – The three co-organizers of the upcoming World Cup remained winless in friendly international matches on Saturday (local time). The USA team, coached by Mauricio Poccettino, lost 2:5 to Belgium in Atlanta after a 1-0 lead and a 1-1 draw at the break. The Canadians, coached by ex-Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch, drew 2-2 with Iceland after trailing 2-0 at BMO Field in Toronto. Mexico against Portugal, on the other hand, ended goalless in Mexico City in front of around 84,000 spectators.
