Tottenham announces departure of Igor Tudor after poor results

Tottenham announced this Sunday (29) the departure of interim coach Igor Tudor. According to an official statement, the decision was taken in common agreement between the parties.

The North London team currently occupies the 17th place in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone.

Tudor had been appointed interim coach until the end of the season following the , in February.

Under the Croatian’s command, Tottenham won just two of the seven matches playedaccumulating five defeats. The performance kept the club with 30 points after 31 games, in addition to elimination in the round of 16, against Atlético de Madrid.

In a statement, the club confirmed the coach’s immediate departure. “We can confirm that the departure of coach Igor Tudor has been mutually agreed with immediate effect,” Tottenham said.

The statement also highlighted the personal moment experienced by Tudor. The club expressed solidarity with the coach over the recent family loss, offering support in this difficult period.
