Túlio Gadêlha negotiates with PSD to join Raquel Lyra’s ticket

Deputy wants to run for a seat in the Senate; movement goes against the Psol-Rede de Pernambuco coalition that considered its permanence in the Sustainability Network certain

The group of the governor of Pernambuco, (PSD), is expected to announce in the coming days the affiliation of the federal deputy (Rede-PE) to the PSD (Social Democratic Party).

The movement goes against members of the Psol-Rede coalition who considered Gadêlha’s permanence in the party for which he was elected in 2022, with 134 thousand votes, to be certain. In the last election, Gadêlha supported Raquel Lyra’s candidacy for state government. He is 38 years old and is in his 2nd term. The exchange can be made until Friday (April 3, 2026), when the electoral window period ends.

The information about the party change was published by reporter Gabriela Echenique.

Túlio Gadêlha recently released a video in which he criticizes football player Neymar and eats a banana.

The survey carried out by the company Real Time Big Data in February showed that Raquel Lyra’s government has the approval of 49% of voters. However, the same survey shows that Lyra has only 36% voting intentions in the dispute with the mayor of Recife (PE) and his main opponent, (PSB-PE), who registers 55%. The survey, which interviewed 2,000 voters from February 9th to 10th, is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number PE-09944/2026.
