Prenell Rousseau would settle down for no apparent reason on the porch of the American singer’s house in Los Angeles, where she would read a book and mutter to herself.
The man who in 2020 was accused of stalking the American singer Billie Eilish died suddenly this Sunday, at 5:00 am, after being hit by a train in Long Island, New York.
Prenell Rousseau began stalking Eilish in 2020, at the singer’s family home in Los Angeles. The first time he showed up, he insistently rang the doorbell until get Eilish’s father to tell her through the surveillance camera, recalls .

After repeated appearances of Rousseau in the vicinity of the popular American singer’s home, the authorities ended up intervening, and the man, then aged 30, no longer represents a problem. Eilish would, however, obtain a court ruling three year restraining order against the stalker.
According to court documents cited by Vice, Rousseau installed himself for no apparent reason on the porch of the singer’s house, where I was reading a book and muttering to himself. Furthermore, did not comply with any protocols of the pandemic, appearing without a mask and touching the property without wearing gloves.
It is wasn’t the only Billie Eilish episode with disturbing stalkers. As reported in 2023, the singer also obtained another restraining order against Shawn Christopher McIntyre53 years old.
Over the course of several months, McIntyre sent hundreds of messages to Eilish and her family, revealing a loving obsession with the artist and making violent threats to his brother, Finneas.
At one point, McIntyre managed identify the singer’s address and acted in a way semelhante by Prenell Rousseau.
“I received a notification that I was someone outside my residence and what had rang several times on the intercom,” wrote Billie Eilish in the lawsuit cited by the LA Times.
“I was able to see, through a camera that captured the outside of my house, the individual wander in front of the entrance access gatetalking on the phone and, finally, sitting in front of that same gate”, said the singer.
The court ordered at the time that the stalker stay at least 90 meters away from the singer, her family and friend Zoe.
