(PSD), PSD’s pre-candidate for the Presidency, said this Monday (March 30, 2026) that he will diverge from the party and that he will take the platform of (União Brasil) to the government of Bahia. The acronym supports the re-election of (PT).
“And President Gilberto Kassab has, not only told everyone, that the PSD is a party that respects federal entities. He respects the federalization of the party. For example, in Bahia, the PSD has a position and I will be on the ACM Neto platform”, said Caiado at an event announcing his pre-candidacy for Planalto.

In Bahia, the senator (PSD-BA), who is president of the party, that the party was with the president (PT). Otto gives indications that he will support a pure-blood PT ticket formed by governor Jerônimo Rodrigues, and for the Senate.
“Sometimes you joke with me that I’m from the PSD, but, in reality, I’m from the PT. No, I embrace the PT, which is your party, it’s the Workers’ Party, as I embrace Avante, as I embrace the PCdoB, the PSB, Podemos, the MDB. Our alliance is the alliance for the future of Bahia and for the future of Brazil”stated the senator on February 6, 2026.
