Federal deputy and pastor Otoni de Paula left MDB for , this Monday (30), with the mission of helping to communicate with the evangelical community.
Previously a supporter of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Otoni took on the role of interceding for Lula among evangelicals.
“Caiaado is not a character, he is not dressed as a conservative leftist nor right-winger. Unlike former president Bolsonaro himself, Caiado is a legitimate conservative”, stated Otoni.
“The word of God was used to demonize the other side and deify itself. I think we should have this debate among evangelicals, but without usurping faith,” he continued.
Otoni signed his membership after the president of the PSD, announced that the party chose Caiado to run for President of the Republic.
In his speech, the deputy referred to Caiado as the balm of evangelicals.
