Erika Hilton says the wave of hate against her was “paid for” by deputies

The federal deputy (Psol-SP) stated this Monday (March 30, 2026) that it had identified far-right profiles on social networks that paid to promote hate speech against it on social networks. The deputy declared that there is a dossier with material that proves the involvement of federal and state deputies and councilors from several municipalities in Brazil in financing this content.

The declaration was made andm interview with the program Roda Vivayes TV Cultura. The deputy, however, did not present evidence to support her statement about politicians financing hate speech.. Erika, who is a trans woman, spoke on the program about the recent which he was the target of after being of the Chamber of Deputies, on March 14th.

According to the deputy, the wave of criticism was not spontaneous. “There is a dossier, a vast material from parliamentarians from the most diverse fields of the Federal, State, Municipal Legislative Power, from various municipalities in Brazil, who financed, who paid, who promoted hate speeches against me”, stated.

“These parliamentarians, who should value the dignity of all people in a democratic rule of law, used money to circulate hate speech at high speed through large technology companies”said Erika.

“Society needs to change the picture it has made of these people, clear its eyes on these groups and understand that they are only fighting for dignity”he stated.
