The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested, this Tuesday (31), Diego Netto Braz dos Santos, investigated for being part of a criminal organization linked to criminal Bernardo Bello.
Civil agents from the 34th DP (Bangu) located the suspect in a condominium on Avenida Brasil, in the West Zone of Rio.

According to investigations, the criminal group has a consolidated activity, being identified as being involved in crimes, such as homicides and disputes over territory and economic power.
The arrest is also connected to Operation “Ace of Diamonds 3”, which was launched in 2024 and targeted members of the organization.
The agency’s investigations also indicate that members of the organization participated in the murder of lawyer Carlos Daniel, in 2022, in a context of internal disputes.
The Police indicate that the action carried out this Tuesday is part of a set of strategic measures aimed at combating criminal organizations in the West Zone of Rio, with a focus on dismantling and reducing crime.
