Annette Dasch has been an integral part of the Vienna Volksoper stage for some time now. Now the 50-year-old soprano is also taking on a major role backstage. From the coming season, the Berlin native will take over the management of StudioV, the house’s opera studio, as successor to Maurice Lenhard. Lenhard will be moving to the Ruhrtriennale in the fall as chief dramaturge and deputy to director Lydia Steier.
