Trump gave Iran 48 hours to “cut a deal” or open the Strait of Hormuz before “all hell breaks loose on them.” In response, the Iranian Army pledges to “fulfill” its promises

The Iranian Army rejected the new ultimatum from US President Donald Trump, who this Saturday demanded an agreement or the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, considering his threats to create a “hell” in Iran “stupid”.

“The American president, aggressive and bellicose, after having suffered successive defeats, began, in a powerless, unstable, nervous and stupid way, to threaten the infrastructure and assets” of Iran, said General Ali Abdollahi, head of the command of the Iranian armed forces, quoted by Iranian state television on Telegram, reports Agence France Presse (AFP).

In this Saturday’s ultimatum, the American president gave Iran 48 hours to “close a deal” or open the Strait of Hormuz before “all hell breaks loose on them.”

“Remember when I gave Iran 10 days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN THE STRAIT OF ORMUZ? Time is running out – 48 hours until all hell breaks loose,” Trump wrote in Truth Social, recalling that on March 27 he gave Iran 10 days to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, that is, until April 6.

In response to this Saturday’s new ultimatum, the Iranian army warned that, “in the event of an attack by the American-Zionist enemy”, it will target “all infrastructure used by the American terrorist army, as well as the infrastructure of the Zionist regime, without exception, through destructive and uninterrupted attacks”.

“Since the beginning of this war imposed on us, we have kept our promises; this message simply means that they will open the gates of hell,” said General Abdollahi.

This at a time when the Israeli army is preparing to attack Iranian energy facilities, awaiting the green light from the US, according to Reuters, which cited a senior Israeli defense official.

According to the same source, if approved, these attacks should take place next week.
