Lula sanctions law that obliges companies to guide employees on preventive health

Employers must now educate their workers about vaccination campaigns, prevention against HPV and breast, cervical and prostate cancer

New law changes CLT and adds obligations to employers

The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) sanctioned the law that altera a CLT and obliges employers to provide preventive health information to its workers. Published this Monday (6), in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), the rule is already in force.

Now, the andCompanies must guide their employees about official vaccination campaigns, prevention against HPV, breast, cervical and prostate cancer and how to access diagnostic services for these diseases. The information must be in compliance with instructions from the Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, workers must be informed that may be absent from work to undergo preventive exams for breast, cervical and prostate cancer without any salary deduction.
