The report was published on the social network by Nemocnica Bory. “It is with deep sadness that we announce that our colleague and doctor MUDr. died tragically. Jozef Barinka, PhD., MBA,” the management writes. Barinka worked as a trauma surgeon and deputy chief for one-day surgery.

The management of the Bory Hospital, together with the entire team, expresses its sincere and deep condolences to the family, loved ones and everyone affected by this tragic event,” added the hospital.

More than 1,200 comments have accumulated under the post in less than twenty-four hours. His colleagues and patients spoke up. In the comments, they expressed their sincere condolences to the family and mentioned what a friendly doctor Barinka was.

“I have no experience with doctors, but I met the doctor a few times after my accident. And I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. I admired his empathy and kind demeanor after long hours on duty. It’s been a while, but I remember his smile when I entered the office for the first time. Sincere condolences,” wrote Gabriel.
