The president (PT) returned, this Wednesday (8), to criticize the so-called penduricalhos, the funds concentrated by the National Congress and the so-called “secret budget”, which concerns the rapporteur resources that parliamentarians can allocate to projects without clear identification.
“When I criticize the secret budget, I know what Congress thinks about the secret budget, I know what I think, but everyone knows it’s wrong. Congress took over 60% of the budget. This is even being corrected, the [ministro do ] is even taking correct measures”, he said in an interview with ICL Notícias.
“The Budget has to be in the hands of the Executive”, he also said. “What State do we want from now on? I don’t want a State in which we are subordinated to a secret budget. Sixty percent [do Orçamento]we know, it goes to the hands of deputies and senators. It’s not possible for you not to put an end to the strife in this country, it’s not possible to continue with this promiscuity.”
