The singer Luisa Sonza27, made her festival debut Coachellain the United States, last Saturday (11). Directly from the Gobi stage, at the Empire Polo Club, the artist presented the project “Brutal Paraíso”, marked by urban references and, as the name suggests, brutalist aesthetics.
One of the highlights of the night was the surprise participation of Argentina Emilia Mernesa long-time friend of the Brazilian. Together, they shared the vocals on singles such as “Bunda” and “Motinha 2.0 (Remix), reinforcing their connection with the Latin audience present at the event.
“This show is where everything mixes: pleasure, chaos, vulnerability. It’s the moment when Brutal Paraíso truly comes to life”, he says.
With creative direction signed by Flávio Verne, the show followed a continuous flow, without pauses or divisions, maintaining the intensity from beginning to end. The aesthetics moved towards a more raw and urban place, with references to a more sober visual base, which contrasts with the expressiveness of the costumes and choreography.
Dance continued as one of the pillars, mixing movements already associated with , and which fans already love and await, with new choreography constructions directed by Flávio. “Loira Gelada” and “Santa Maculada” appeared among the moments with the greatest impact.
The repertoire prioritized the new album, but also brought connections with different phases of her career, including the hits “Luísa Manequim”, “Anaconda” and “Dona Aranha”. Finally, “Telefone”, a track from the album with the biggest debut by a Brazilian artist this year on Spotify.
