Projections indicate that the candidate should go to the second round against Roberto Sánchez or Rafael López Aliga
The right-wing candidate Keiko Fujimori leads the exit polls with more than 16% of preferences in the presidential elections this Sunday (12) in Peru, according to private companies Ipsos and Datum.
The projection of Ipsos estimates a second round between Keiko Fujimori and Roberto Sánchez. Already the Datum predicts that the right-wing candidate will face Rafael Lopez Aliaga.
The polling stations closed at 6pm local time (8pm Brasília time), according to the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE), after a turbulent day in which at least 63 thousand people did not vote due to logistical problems at the electoral body.
