The TVI presenter is once again under fire for comments made on the program “Dois à 10”. “Even if the victim said to stop, when there are four of them on that adrenaline rush, does anyone hear ‘I don’t want it anymore’?”
After saying in June last year that a woman stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend may have “put herself in order”, Cristina Ferreira starred in a ‘put it together 2.0’ – rape version.
The presenter addressed, on the program “Dois à 10”, this Wednesday, the case of the four influencers accused of having .
The crime took place in Loures, last year, and the suspects (currently between 18 and 21 years old) began to be tried at the beginning of this week. They are charged with one aggravated rape crime and 27 aggravated child pornography crimes.
The case was a topic of conversation on Cristina Ferreira’s morning show, in which the presenter, at a certain point, said something that outraged many viewers, as it was interpreted as a kind of apology for what happened.
“No one had any idea who the young woman wanted more and they continued. They beat him and did a series of tricks”, he condemned. Victor Marqueschief inspector of the PJ.
Following the expert’s words, Cristina Ferreira said: “We have to talk about this. Even though she said to stop, when it’s four who are in that adrenaline rush of having sex with a girl. Someone listens – of course they have to listen – but Does anyone hear or understand that ‘I don’t want it anymore’?”
“Not wanting to justify anything, We have to understand their age and that is much more hard to stop and it takes much more maturity to control impulses when we are halfway through the act…”, replied, in turn, the psychologist Inês Balinha Carlos.
“Even with one person, let alone four…”interrupted Cristina Ferreira.
However, according to , the presenter’s comments already worth it ERC complaints – Regulatory Entity for Communication.
About a month ago, the Regulatory Entity for Communication had already decided to move forward with one due to the controversy over the murder of a woman at the hands of her ex-partner (mentioned at the beginning of the article), outside the same program and also targeting Cristina Ferreira.
At issue were, on the one hand, the presenter’s comments considered by the ERC as a “transfer of responsibility to the victim”; on the other, the display of violent images during protected hours.
The ERC’s deliberation may result in a fine between 20 thousand and 150 thousand euros to channel four.
“Fitted up”
“I don’t know if this woman got into a car with him after the dance [assassino]and then Maybe he set himself up to make that happen.”, said the host, in the “Criminal Chronicle” section.
“Who has never tried to get stabbed 150 times?!”
I bet this will be the slogan of the advertising campaign for Cristina Ferreira’s knife collection— Paulo Almeida (@OPauloAlmeida)
The regulator considers that these words “transfer responsibility of what happened for the victim(s))”, by suggesting that the dead woman’s decision to accompany the suspect would have been decisive for the fatal outcome.
At the same time, ERC understands, the aggressor ends up being unaccountablesince death becomes implicitly associated with the victim’s behavior, and not with the violent act carried out by the perpetrator.
Influencers started to be judged
Returning to the case of rape, the crime occurred on February 12, 2025, when the victim met with the four accusedthen with social media channels and significant audiences, in a public garden in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, municipality of Loures, in the metropolitan area of Lisbon.
According to the indictment, the sexual acts recorded with a cell phonewould have started consensually in the public garden and continued in a nearby garage, against the victim’s will.
One of the rape videos shared by one of the three young influencers against the minor has been viewed 32 thousand times on the social network where it was published. Despite the frightening number, .
The trial continues on April 20th at the Central Criminal Court of Loures and only the reading of the decision will be open to the public, on a date yet to be scheduled, says Lusa.
In the note, the magistrate justifies the fact that the trial took place behind closed doors with the “age of the victim and the nature of the crimes”.
In April 2025, the teenager “made statements for future memory”, in order to prevent her suffering from being prolonged by “repeated inquiries” and, therefore, “in principle” she will not testify at the trial.
The four young people were detained by the Judiciary Police (PJ) between March and June 2025, after being involved in the Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, in Loures, and, at the time, they were released while waiting for the process to unfold, by decision of the Loures Criminal Instruction Court.
