Government of SP opens the coffers for Tourism and will invest R$ 276 million in 214 tourist cities

The 78 Tourist Resorts in São Paulo will be covered by the resources released by Tarcísio, with a transfer of R$ 2.5 million for each one

Governor Tarcísio de Freitas will announce a million-dollar investment to strengthen the tourist flow and economy of 214 municipalities in São Paulo. To the 78 Tourist Resorts of São Paulo will be covered by the resources released by Tarcísio, with a transfer of R$2.5 million to each. Another 136 Municipalities of Tourist Interest will receive individual contributions of R$600,000.

Os R$ 276.6 million in new investments provides for the feasibility of projects such as:

  • Construction of themed squares;
  • Creation of tourist service centers;
  • Redevelopment of waterfronts;
  • Cycle paths;
  • Ecological trails.

State resources will be allocated primarily to infrastructure works, strengthening tourist flow and the local economy. The investment will enable projects such as construction of themed squares, creation of tourist service centers, requalification of coastlines, cycle paths and ecological trails, among others.

The contribution must be confirmed by the Bandeirantes Palace this Thursday (15)with the participation of mayors of the cities served.
