In a context of increased economic activity during the summer months, ALDI Portugal launched a new recruitment campaign in the Algarve, and is hiring on a part-time basis in several cities in the region, seeking to reinforce store teams in the face of growing demand.
Under the motto “Do half a day and earn all summer”, the supermarket chain announced the opening of job opportunities aimed at responding to the increase in footfall during the bathing season. In this context, ALDI is hiring in several cities, with the aim of strengthening the teams during the summer.
In a statement sent to , the company indicates that the vacancies are distributed across several locations, including Alcantarilha, Tavira, Portimão, Lagos, Olhão, Lagoa, Albufeira, Vale de Parra, Altura and Vila Real de Santo António. The roles available are part-time, with opening hours between 4pm and 8pm or from 8pm to midnight.

The initiative aims to attract candidates interested in combining work with other activities during the summer. Although ALDI does not disclose salary values, it indicates on its website that the remuneration charged is above average.
Open Days start in April
To facilitate contact with potential candidates, ALDI will hold several Open Days in partnership with local employment services.
The first event is scheduled for April 9th, in Quarteira, and the other sessions take place in different locations throughout the month, according to the same source.
These initiatives aim to promote direct contact between the company and candidates, allowing them to clarify doubts and present available opportunities.
Reinforcement accompanies increased activity
According to the company, this campaign is particularly important in the Algarve due to the intensification of economic activity during the summer season.

ALDI Portugal recalls that it began its activities in the country in 2006 and currently has more than 150 stores and around 2,600 employees, according to the source mentioned above.
According to the company, the strategy is based on a strong commitment to fresh products and exclusive brands, including organic, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
The company also highlights its preference for national producers in several categories, such as fruits, vegetables and fresh meat, as a way of responding to the needs of the Portuguese market.
