Sinsheim – After Borussia Dortmund’s 1-2 defeat at TSG Hoffenheim, FC Bayern have their first championship match point. Coach Christian Ilzer’s Hoffenheim team overtook fifth-placed Bayer Leverkusen with their victory against Bayern’s first pursuers. There is still light in the table cellar for VfL Wolfsburg thanks to a 2-1 win in Berlin, Marie-Louise Eta’s much-noticed coaching debut at Union Berlin was also lost due to a goal from Patrick Wimmer.
