Eight children aged between one and 14 were killed this Sunday in a shooting related to a case of domestic violence in Shreveport, in the US state of Louisiana.
The crime occurred in the early afternoon, around 1 pm (Lisbon time), when the suspect shot 10 people in two different housesauthorities reported, adding that he then fled.
The man, who would have family connections to the children, was shot down following a police chase.
Everything indicates that the crime occurred in a context of domestic violencebut the motivations for the attack are not yet known.
