The acting diva Zdena Studenková is a principled woman who has no problem openly saying what she thinks. He makes his opinion clear even on hot topics, such as politics. In the podcast, she declared that she would definitely sign up to the age restriction for politicians, as the claims that the world is in the grip of old, senile, egocentric and monstrous fools resonate more and more often.
Studenková stated that there are people like the conductor Ľudovít Rajter, who even at the age of 95 had a great vision. „There are people who, even in their old age, feel like stepping on everything, there are trends and so on,” she stated that the second case is seniors who have a boxed-in view of things and will not be convinced by any argument.
“It’s a disaster. And I think that as long as people are not able to accept new things, they are looped and focused only on themselves, and they don’t have the mental capacity anymore. These are the disasters that happen to us here. And I’m not talking about the fact that not only people who are of a certain age, but also have, let’s say, really psychological problems, also health problems, and that affects the psyche a lot. People are bitter, evil, vengeful,” continued the acting legend.
She noted that she too is getting older, but she still tries to keep her sanity. In one breath, she criticized pensioners who don’t even read books anymore, just fill in crosswords and don’t move anywhere mentally. “They are not interested in what is happening around them, they just have their own strong opinion that someone pours into their heads, or they read disinfo from any beacons,” added Studenková bitterly.
The presenter followed up her words by saying that even youth is no guarantee of anything. In this context, she recalled that the first lady of the Slovak acting scene in 2025 refused a state award from Peter Pellegrini. She called him a young and handsome president. “Young and handsome?” Studenková asked teasingly.
The presenter explained that she meant it compared to others. “I don’t care if he’s young or if he’s handsome. I care what he represents and he represents such a constellation of people that I wouldn’t want anything from. I never want anything from them. Nothing.” emphasized our top actor.
Many Slovaks do not follow the political situation and claim that they are not interested, which increases the pressure on the actress. “It’s easy to get rid of responsibility… And how will you vote? How will your children live in this state when you won’t even vote, because you don’t know, you don’t want to. You can only complain afterwards and say: ‘I can’t watch it. It totally exhausts me.’ My job also exhausts me, but as I say, the context is very important,” concluded Studenková.
