The Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) intervened in the afternoon of Sunday (April 19) in a tragic motorcycle traffic accident in the village of Láb in the district of Malacky. One person died in the accident, another was seriously injured. HaZZ reported about it on the social network.

Firefighters were called to the accident shortly after 1:30 p.m. “On a purpose-built road in the cadastre of the municipality of Láb, there was a traffic accident involving a motorcycle that crashed into a tree,” the firemen approached.
Upon arrival at the scene, they found two seriously injured persons, one of whom was unconscious. “The responding firefighters immediately provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the unconscious person, but the injuries suffered by this person were incompatible with life and the doctor who was called declared exitus“, HaZZ stated. After treatment, the second injured person was taken by the emergency medical service helicopter to one of Bratislava’s hospitals.
HaZZ specified that at the time of their arrival, the motorcycle was located in the Zohorský channel due to the impact. “Firefighters prevented operational fluids from leaking into the water using sorption snakes, and after documenting the traffic accident, pulled the motorcycle out of the canal,” he noted.
