Lula is the 7th best rated Latin president, says survey

PT is positively evaluated by 48.4% of those interviewed; in 1st place is the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukelo

The president (PT) is the 7th best rated chief executive in South America, according to a CB Global Data survey carried out in April 2026. Here is the survey (PDF – 13 MB).

The PT member has a positive image for 48.4% of those interviewed. Another 49.1% have a negative impression of the Brazilian president and 2.5% were unable to respond.

The survey was carried out from April 13 to 18 and interviewed 40,528 in total (more or less 2,001 to 2,701 per country). The margin of error is 1.9 to 2.2 percentage points and the confidence level is 95%.

In 1st place is the president of El Salvador, with a positive rating of 70.1%. It is followed by (Mexico) and (Costa Rica)

The president of Argentina, , is 7 positions behind Lula. It occupies 14th position in the ranking, with a 36.2% positive evaluation. The negative totals 59.7%.
