Brothers forced to pay the legal costs of the case, after the court ruled in favor of the comedian: it is enough “to invest” in the decoration of their shows on the “Em Sede Própria” tour (inspired by the legal case).
Joana Marques six months ago he won the long legal battle initiated by the Anjos and recently brought news about the case on “Humor at First Sight”.
The comedian has already received the amount of legal costs of the process that pitted her against her brothers, she said, on Gustavo Carvalho’s podcast: she received confirmation from the lawyer on the same day of the episode.
“I received it today before coming here. It wasn’t agreed but there it is, everything takes a long time, a year always passes between each thing and I received a message from the lawyer saying that it was already done and that I actually received it”, revealed Joana Marques, who joked that the money is enough “to invest” in the decoration of her shows on the “Em Sede Própria” tour, inspired by the court case.
According to SIC Notícias, the Rosado brothers paid almost 31 thousand euros to the comedian. “There’s still room for a vacation,” said Joana Marques.
At issue are the legal costs of the process, including the initial court fee, procedural costs and expenses borne by the comedian throughout the action.
The case in 2025. It originated from a video published by Joana Marques, in which she satirizes a presentation by Anjos in MotoGP. The musical duo went to court, alleging emotional and material damages, and demanded compensation of one million euros.
