US military kills three people during operation in the Pacific

Southcom (United States Southern Command) claimed to have carried out a lethal attack against a vessel involved in drug trafficking operations in the Eastern Pacific on Sunday (26).

The military released a video on Ship X of the attack and stated that the vessel was operating in and that three suspected narco-terrorists were killed in the operation.

“On orders from Southcom commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force South Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike against a ship operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed that the ship was transiting known drug trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was involved in drug trafficking operations. They were killed during this action,” the US military wrote in the post.

US Southern Command also reported that no US military personnel were injured in the operation.

Since Donald Trump’s return to the US presidency, the American government has begun a campaign in the Caribbean Sea and in the Caribbean, with bombings of boats believed to be involved in drug trafficking into the country.

Southcom is one of the U.S. Department of Defense’s unified joint commands, responsible for military operations, security, and cooperation in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
