How will artificial intelligence change the labor market for our children?
When we send a toddler to kindergarten, we rarely think about who he or she will be in twenty years. Meanwhile, the world is moving forward and many professions will simply disappear due to the development of technology. As we read in the report of the World Economic Forum, by 2030 machines and programs will replace millions of employees, but in their place completely new positions related to computers and data will be created.
All because artificial intelligence copes well with repetitive tasks that were previously performed by, for example, cashiers or office workers. This is why there is no point in teaching kids to memorize everything if they will be working with modern programs in the future. It is worth focusing on what no machine can quickly copy, i.e. typically human features and soft skills.
