A new episode of insecurity once again hit a laundry in the city of Porto, this time with particularly tense contours. Late on Sunday afternoon, a man wearing a helmet was caught on surveillance cameras while trying to break into a machine inside the space, using a crowbar.
During the attempted robbery, a customer entered the establishment without realizing what was happening. The scenario quickly changed when the suspect confronted him and threatened him with what appeared to be a firearm, forcing him to remain in place while he waited for a machine to cycle.
The images recorded show the individual acting with apparent ease, carrying a bag with several tools.
Testimonies indicate that the suspect left the scene on a black motorcycle, after another attack. The PSP was at the scene and opened an investigation to determine responsibilities and try to stop the sequence of crimes.
