In Mozambique, street riots led to the death of twenty-one more people. The protests intensified after the Constitutional Council confirmed Daniel Chapo’s victory in the elections.

The European Union believes that there were irregularities in the counting of votes, but asks protesters to restrain themselves. But nothing to anger. In the streets, chaos ensued.
