The pre-candidate for President Renan Santos (Mission) stated this Friday (1st), in an interview with CNN 360ºthat his government proposal will be similar to that of the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, with renovations “hard” at the beginning, but which, according to him, should bring improvement in quality of life of Brazilians in the medium and long term.
Renan said he differentiates himself from the other pre-candidates by addressing topics considered unpopular, such as changes in the Brazilian tax regime and a new pension reform.
“During the election period, Milei did what I’m doing now. He warned: ‘I’m going to make reforms that, at first, will be difficult, but I promise that, in the medium and long term, you’ll see the difference'”stated the pre-candidate.
“He said he was going to mess with the privileged, and I say the same thing. Politicians don’t make proposals, they talk to marketers, who say what is popular to say in front of the cameras”he added.
In the pre-candidate’s assessment, the Brazilian economy is like a body “sick”. He criticized the president’s policies Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and stated that the senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) avoid positioning yourself so as not to compromise.
“The body of the Brazilian economy is sick and Lula gave this body ice cream, with gas vouchers and nest egg. And Flávio Bolsonaro doesn’t say anything: ‘I’m going to keep quiet, because at some point the body will have to walk away’. Tip: it won’t walk away. The body will die. I’ll give a very bitter medicine, but after that, the body will work”he concluded.
