Nogueira’s absence from the list is noted in a context in which the PF points out that the senator would have acted in favor of the banker in exchange for undue economic advantages.

Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI)target this Thursday (7) of the 5th phase of Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates fraud involving Banco Master, is not among the signatories of the request to create the CPMI in the case.

A Young Pan had access to the document’s updated list and the senator’s name is not among the supporters. The request, authored by deputy Carlos Jordy (PL-RJ), brought together 239 deputies and 42 senators in favor of opening a parliamentary investigation into the financial scandal estimated at more than R$12.2 billion.

The text calls for the creation of a mixed commission with 15 senators and 15 deputies to investigate, within 180 days, the frauds attributed to Daniel Vorcaro’s bank, including the creation of supposedly non-existent funds and assets, falsification of contracts, accounting manipulation and the attempted transfer of liabilities to BRB, the public bank in the Federal District.

Nogueira’s absence from the list is perceived in a context in which the

In February, when asked at the Straight to the Point, from Jovem Panabout his relationship with Vorcaro and about an amendment he presented to expand the Credit Guarantee Fund from R$250,000 to R$1 million, the senator was categorical: “It doesn’t even have any links. There’s nothing on the list, nor did I participate in any type of intermediation. That’s a big lie.”

The PF investigation, however, points out that the text of the amendment was written by Banco Master’s own staff and delivered in an envelope to the parliamentarian’s home address.
